Winemaking: Hand-harvested, no fining and very light filtration. Shallow, red clay (20–30 cm) directly on bedrock, in the extension of «Clos des Chênes», planted in 1979, south/south-east facing. 44 ares, ~1,500 bottles/year.

Blackcurrant and violet – expressive when young.

Palate

Very delicate and elegant, with a tannic structure that gives good ageing potential. A lovely, full-bodied wine.
