A powerful red wine made from 100% Syrah, from vines growing 300 metres above sea level near the hamlet of Fauzan, above the village of Cesseras, on limestone soil. The altitude and cool air give the wine a freshness and concentration beyond what is typical for Languedoc Syrah. Produced by the Ournac family at Domaine Coudoulet, IGP Pays d'Oc.

Winemaking

Traditional vinification in stainless steel tank. The grapes grow 300 metres above sea level, above the village of Cesseras near the hamlet of Fauzan on the road towards Minerve. The plot stands apart from the rest of the estate for its limestone soil. The view is striking – the Pyrenees on one side, and on clear days the Mediterranean on the other.
