About this wine
A powerful, wild red wine from a grape almost no one else has. Petite Sirah is a rare, old cross between Syrah and Peloursin from the French Alps, today almost extinct in France. After a harvest in Napa Valley in 2009, Fanély brought a bottle of Californian Petite Sirah home to her father in her suitcase. The following year he planted the first vines at Domaine Coudoulet. «Le Braque» means the pointer – the hunting dog that has followed every generation of winegrowers on the estate.
