Apple and lemon zest, with delicate notes of sweet spice – turmeric and white pepper.

Apple and lemon zest give a fine bitterness that heightens the freshness. A pleasant, lively sparkle.

About this wine

«Le Frétilleur» means "the wriggler" – the label shows a wriggling fish, a nod to its sister wine Les Poiscailles, also made from Verdejo. The name comes from a political newspaper in Toulouse in the 1900s–1930s, where grandfather Henri and his brother Camille drew caricatures alongside running the wine trading business «Ournac Frères».
